I use a mixture of qualitative and quantitative research and user testing to assess and get to know your company, your users, and your products.
With product management methodologies like Agile Development and Lean UX, I work with your team to plan and implement the changes and projects that will drive value for users and win you business.
I know product management, user experience, instructional design, training and documentation.
I built my first website in 1998, received a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University in 2007, then became interested in user interfaces.
I worked in a video lab at DePaul University and created high quality course materials for eLearning while earning my Masters in Human-Computer Interaction.
In 2011, I moved to New York City, working with a fast-growing startup called Flashtalking and managed a small elite bug-squashing tech support team. I then became a full-stack developer and user experience specialist, and learned how to effectively apply agile and lean UX principles to manage resources, support clients, and build effectively.
Now I help businesses grow, keeping their evergreen clients satisfied while they take on exciting new business. I do research, coach teams on the principles of user centered design, design solutions, and create training and documentation to support operations.
